Taken from 2000's The Doldrums.

"This cover isn't a new one. It was recorded sometime around 2012-13 in my dorm room when I briefly attended college in upstate NY. I had been digging through Ariel's back catalog for about 2 years at this point and was just learning as much as I could to find inspiration. I was recording lots of random song ideas but nothing concrete all while fighting mental illness and substance abuse problems. I didn't consciously choose this song, it's just what felt right at the time, I didn't bother to learn it at all and made the arrangement while recording. This cover gave me a way to speak out about my sorrows while still being able to hide behind a curtain, it was organic , I feel as though the song chose me and this arrangement and recording poured out of the deepest pits of my broken heart. It later was able to send me in a better direction mentally and work out my issues that I felt were so blatantly represented in the song."
