"I'm from Barreiro, Portugal (near Lisbon) and I make electronic/psychedelic music as Mimimic. I did this cover by myself essentially on my home studio, using a Novation Peak, Arturia Drumbrute and a bunch of effects pedals - I always thought the original New Trumpets Of Time had sort of a late-night vibe and it reminded me almost of a GAS track (in fact I think the chord progression is the same as in many GAS tracks) so I went for a similarly minimal, atmospheric approach to the cover. I think it ended up sounding quite lo-fi which is surprising, given the material used, but it fits the source material well."
